Dr. Angela J. Christopher, DC, ART, MUAC
Dr Christopher has been a practicing chiropractor and physiotherapist in Ahwatukee since 2005. She is very well respected and was voted “Best Phoenix Chiropractor” in 2010 by “Phoenix Health and Wellness Magazine.
Dr. Christopher graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic with a B.S. in science and a degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005. She relocated from St. Louis Missouri and opened her practice at 32nd Street and Chandler Blvd. in the Ahwatukee area.
Dr. Christopher initially intended to become a medical doctor and was working on her bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine from Lindenwood University when she discovered chiropractic by accident. Dr. Christopher was a sprinter for her college track team when she sustained an IT band injury. Dr. Christopher was referred to a chiropractor in St. Louis and was successfully treated with chiropractic care and ART. Dr. Christopher became very excited about this natural form of health care and decided to pursue Chiropractic as a career instead.
Since graduating from Chiropractic school Dr. Christopher has furthered her education by becoming certified in Manipulation Under Anesthesia and works with a team of chiropractors and medical doctors in a surgical facility once a month to perform this special procedure. She has also spent countless hours becoming proficient in ART, kinesiotape, biomechanics analysis and active exercise training. She has also dedicated continuing education hours to understanding diagnostics and the treatment of specific injuries relating to automobile injuries.
Dr. Christopher is very involved in her community as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a local precinct committeeman and a local tri-athlete. Her passion is helping people get well naturally and she has become known in the community as a very generous and trustworthy local doctor.
